Mengutip Pocket-lint, Facebook akan menutup layanan email @facebook.com yang dimulai sejak tahun 2010.
"Kami mulai memberitahukan kepada para pengguna bahwa @facbook.com akan mulai ditutup," jelas pihak Facebook.
"Namun jika tetap ada yang mengirim ke email Facebook anda, maka pesan tersebut akan di-forward ke alamat email pengguna sebelumnya," tambah mereka.
Layanan email Facebook pertama kali dikenalkan oleh Mark Zuckerberg pada November 2010, yang mengenalkan fitur 'Social Inbox'.
